Our Programs

Camp “I Have a Dream”

Camp “I Have a Dream” is a summer program for Palestinian refugee youth in the West Bank. The program focuses on non-violent means of expression, leadership development, and career opportunities. In the summer of 2008, Camp “I Have a Dream” reached more than 100 refugee youth in the Al-Azzeh and Dheisheh refugee camps in Bethlehem and the Jalazone refugee camp in Ramallah. The program will expand this summer and aims to reach all 19 refugee camps in the West Bank by 2012.

Our Partners and Sponsors

A crucial part of Inspire Dreams, Inc. approach is incorporating the thoughts and ideas of the communities we will be serving. Camp “I Have a Dream” was designed with the help of village elders in each refugee camp, the cultural centers, former refugee youth, and academics specializing in conflict resolution and psychology. We have also worked with non-profits such as Peaceplayers International, Soliya Connect and Maysoon’s Kids.

Donors to our program include Oxfam International and the Kathryn Wasserman Davis Foundation.
